06/01/2013	Reunion for the Class of 1988 (25 Years)
So if the constant that we can count on is change, it doesn't only apply to our personal lives. The world is changing all the time too. Honestly, HOW did we make it through high school without cell phones and Facebook? Here are a few facts about the happenings in 1988: George H. W. Bush was elected President of the United States CDs outsell albums for the first time The greenhouse effect is discovered Julia Roberts has her big screen breakthrough with Mystic Pizza Salt N Pepa get their breakthrough hit with "Push It" U.S. food processors introduce 962 new microwavable products, up from 278 in 1986, as microwave oven ownership soars Washington beats Denver 42 to 10 at San Diego January 31 in Super Bowl XXII NASA launches a space vehicle September 29 in the first U.S. manned space launch since the 1986 Challenger disaster. Rob and Fab, Milli Vanilli's frontmen didn't really sing. Snapple lemon-flavored iced tea was distributed. Top of the charts included Whitney Houston, Rick Astley, Michael Jackson and George Michael. A 14-inch liquid crystal display (LCD) television screen developed by Japanese engineers at Sharp offers flat-screen pictures in full color with full motion. Penny Loafers with a penny in them and Levis with the cuffs rolled up were the fashion statements of the year. So come to reunion and connect with people who can actually remember that Germany once was a West Germany and East Germany, are familiar with this list and all the other crazy fun 80's things that make us smile! The Class of 1988 will be celebrating its 25th Reunion on Saturday evening, June 1, 2013. The reunion will be held at etcetera, etcetera, located at 352 West 44th Street in New York City and will be held from 6pm to 9pm. The cost is $65 per person until May 31. If you have paid your THAA 2013 dues there is a 15% discount if you pay by May 31 (discount applied online when you login in if your dues are paid). 06/15/2013	Reunions for the Classes of 1993 (20 Years) and 1998 (15 Years)
The Class of 1993 will be celebrating its 20th Reunion and the Class of 1998 will be celebrating its 15th Reunion on Saturday evening, June 15, 2013. The reunion will be held at Hurley's Saloon, 232 West 48th Street in New York City. If you prepay, the cost for the evening will be $15 for those alumni who have paid their current year dues and $20 for those who have not. If you pay at the door, it will be $25 (cash only). 06/25/2013	THHS Commencement Ceremonies
All alumni are invited to attend the 2013 Townsend Harris Commencement Ceremonies, which are to be held on Tuesday June 25 at 12:30 PM. The ceremonies will be held at the Colden Center at Queens College, on the corner of Main Street and Horace Harding Parkway in Flushing, Queens.
07/13/2013	Reunions for the Classes of 2003 (10 Years) and 2008 (5 Years)
The Class of 2003 will be celebrating its 10th Reunion and the Class of 2008 will be celebrating its 5th Reunion on Saturday evening, July 13, 2013. The reunion will be held at Hurley's Saloon, 232 West 48th Street in New York City. If you prepay, the cost for the evening will be $22.50 for those alumni who have paid their current year dues and $30 for those who have not. If you pay at the door, it will be $35 (cash only).
