Howard J. Amster, 86, of Boynton Beach, FL departed peacefully May 21, 2008. Born in New York City, he attended Townsend Harris High School and the City College of New York before serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps 1944-45 in the Pacific theater of operations. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Eiger M-Amster; daughter Evan Amster Kern of M-Plano, TX; daughter and son-in-law Karen and Richard Evans of North Miami Beach, FL; and son and daughter-in-law Jonathan and Michele Amster of Athens, GA; and grandchildren, David Kern, Michael Evans, Andrew Evans, and Rachel Amster. Graveside services took place at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens, Boynton Beach, at 1:30 PM on M-Friday, May 23.
